The YorkSox program is a trainer based comp team. We focus on practice, learning the game, and a positive environment. We will play Super League as well as competing in multiple Tournaments in and out of the state. Our head coach is a trainer and does not have a player on the team. We will also work with a variety of professional trainers through out the season (Hitting, Pitching, Fielding, Speed and Agility), and our goal is give our players an understanding of the entire game (not just one position).
The YorkSox program has a fantastic track record of players who have gone on to play high school baseball, including freshmen who lettered, freshmen who started varsity, and a freshmen of the year award. Our program is designed around information and a camp-like experience, those who work to get better and prepare mentally to compete at a high level will have success. The YorkSox instructors will be hosting 2 winter clinics this year starting in November and are available for team training (facility included) over the winter and spring season.
Our players learn sportsmanship and teamwork first, all while we teach the fundamentals of the game. And most important, we have fun while we do it.
Parents are more than welcome to help their children learn and grow.
